SDR Focused Intern Program

Learn Wireless From The Best:

INNOPLEX is searching for qualified engineering students to tackle unique problems centered on wireless communications, vulnerability analysis, intrusion detection, and information assurance. Come participate in a paid 10 week internship where you’ll solve complex multidimensional problems working alongside some of the brightest minds in wireless information assurance. You’ll learn new engineering, problem solving, and presentation skills useful in your future career. Selected students will have the opportunity to work with internal and external clients through stages of the engineering life-cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, production, and final presentation.

Two Tracks: REDHAWK Development and Full Spectrum Commercial Wireless Analysis

Interns participating in the REDHAWK track will participate in a 10 week program focused on utilizing different embedded platforms for wireless communications through REDHAWK. Interns will have an opportunity to work with different hardware platforms such as Raspberry Pi, and Epiq Solutions' MatchStiq to enable simple modulation and demodulation schemes to transmit data between devices and analyze performance on different platforms.

The Wireless Analysis track will focus on developing a low footprint broadband signals capture platform to be utilized for wireless vulnerability analysis. Interns will have the opportunity to work with Epiq Solutions' SideKiq wireless front-end hardware platform. Students will have the opportunity to conduct hardware analysis, develop custom signal capture algorithms in National Instrument's LabView, and learn about the commercial product life cycle.
